Contact form

The form on this website transmits no data to the server. Your entries are assembled into an email entirely within your browser, which then opens in your own email programme. I only receive your details once you click “Send” there. I use your name, company, email address, team size, topic and message solely to answer your enquiry and keep them only as long as is necessary to deal with it.

Server log files

This website and the associated email service are operated by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva. Data is processed exclusively in data centres in Switzerland. The hosting provider records technically necessary access data such as IP address, date, time and the page requested. This data serves the secure operation of the website and is not combined with your person.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics services.

Typefaces and external services

This website loads no typefaces and no other content from external providers. The typeface already present on your device is used for display. No transmission of your IP address to third parties takes place.

When you use my services

When you use my services, I process the following personal data: contact details such as email address, postal address and telephone number; the content of our communication; payment data; and any further relevant personal data you provide to me.

The purposes for which I process your personal data

I process your personal data in order to prepare quotes, and to conclude, perform and enforce contracts; to comply with legal obligations such as retention requirements; and in pursuit of my legitimate interests, in particular to communicate with you, to provide this website, and to ensure IT security and data protection.

Processors

For quotes, time tracking and invoicing I use the business software agency-atelier (agency-atelier.ch). Your contact and invoicing data is processed on servers in Switzerland; the provider runs its infrastructure at Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva. The provider is obliged to use this data solely to deliver its service. No transfer abroad takes place.

How long data is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment are deleted once our correspondence is finished. Business records such as quotes, contracts and invoices are kept for ten years, because the law requires it. During that time I use these records solely for accounting and tax purposes.

Security

I take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and alteration. Please note that emails are transmitted unencrypted and can be read along the way. For that reason, please do not send me passwords or particularly sensitive information by email.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about, correction of, or deletion of your data. A short email to the address above is enough. I answer requests for information within 30 days; for extensive requests this period may be extended, and I will let you know.

A request for deletion may be refused where I am legally obliged to retain the records.

Amendments

This statement may be amended, for example if new services are added. The version published on this page applies.
